This website is designed to provide on-line, regional potato variety research information for the Michigan Potato Industry.
As Potato Specialist, Christopher M. Long acts as a liaison between the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, Michigan State University (MSU) and the Michigan Potato Industry Commission (MPIC). His main objective is to apply research to real world agriculture. He does this through on-farm research and demonstration trials, grower focused informational meetings and industry directed publications. He has worked for MSU since 1995.
